What housing options do you recommend for someone who has kids?

I'm looking to purchase a tiny home this summer where I can garden

It really depends on what you want and can afford. If it's just because you think it'll be cool but can afford a larger house. Think of how hellacious life can be in a tiny house with kids.

Maybe just look for a small two bedroom house about 1,200 Sq Ft. They're also probably a lot more easy to find at a decent price than a tiny house. As tiny houses often cost way more per square foot than a regular house. I'm guessing because of all the necessary storage solutions to maximize space usage.

I'm not interested in a house on the grid it's defeating the point of homestead living due to my beliefs and practices yes I'll be off grid.

I'm open to a tiny home and a rv life that csn occupy me and my 3 kids. I don't need anything bigger than that

You can get a decent trailer home for under 100k. It might need a little fixing up but it would be yours. There's usually plenty of room to plant a nice garden

I think that is the best option for you. It has property to garden, you are stable, everyone is together, it's not really expensive
