Wrong question. The right question is why are they so expensive where you live? It could be due to import taxes.

A better question is why people buy iPhones at all. More money than common sense?

  I bought an iPhone because I can’t find a decent android phone no more and don’t even mention Samsung because those have messed up on me as well and I had a Nokia before and all the phone did was freeze and lag. With an iPhone the camera quality is better and the phone is fast, I used to not see why people liked iPhones so much and more people had them but once I started having bad experiences with android I was done, the only androids I’ve ever liked were LG and Motorola but LG got discontinued but I’m good I’ll stick with my iPhone 12 mini that was under $400 which I didn’t see being crazy expensive as the newest ones people got which is the 14.
