Why do you buy an expensive mobile phone (like Apple) when you can buy an LG (for example) for 5 times less?

I buy Motorola phones. For my wife and two older boys, they get Apple because they want the design and the OS so they make that choice.

I buy new old stock iPhones. The reason I use them is because most of my clients and employees have them, and so I can link it to my old (2012) Macbook Pro and message easily directly from laptop without a hassle.

Very good point. The new iPhone has less memory and a lower processor than other phones. Basically you're paying more for less. But it has a metal case and says Apple.

Why is that? That is what i am trying to find out since someone asked me why i always buy an Apple phone and i honestly didn't know what to say (i have always owner iphones) So he has me thinking now since he just paid $240 for his upgraded LG and his phone does pretty much everything mine does
