Did anybody else tell themselves they would never pay as much for a phone as they do a computer but they get a better phone every time?

I won my iPhone 15 promax.. but because Apple gives you a decent trade-in value, it feels like you’re not really paying the full price for the phone and honestly when I upgrade in another two years or whatever I’m probably not gonna go down from this model. It’s funny because it wasn’t that many years ago ai was still getting phones on a significantly tighter price budget. although, of course, I also have more money than I did then but still.

I have and still hold to it. The computers I use, other than for the tech's monitor / hybrid jobs, have to be top-of-the-line workstations to handle the workload. No phone I would consider will come close to those in cost.
