Just as there will never be a 100% USA made car as most parts come from Mexico and Canada.

The biggest problem with a "USA made iPhone" is that it will take around 3 years to make the factory, about another year to get all the robots and staff trained, and STILL most of the staff and parts will need to come from abroad. But then, when Trump gets booted out, the next guy might scrap it all!

So Apple and others are not going to take the risk. They will just give excuses and platitudes to keep Trump at arms length.

Looks like we’re going back to the original cell phone prices when the Motorola 8000 X brick came out at $4000 but if I still wanna get an iPhone, I’ll just buy used or maybe it will be cheaper to just go to another country and buy something similar or the ones that they will still be building in China,

I often pay more for made in USA products. I like the idea of supporting my own economy. Always buy American vehicles and keep them for 15 years. I would probably do the same with the iPhone.
