Do babies that don’t make it long into life have an afterlife?

I’m meaning in situations where very young lives don’t make it long or if ever due events such as SIDs, abortion, still births exc.

I would love to know if anyone else has ever thought about this.

I think a lot of people have thought about that. Particularly people who've lost babies very young.

I don't know what your beliefs are. But in most faiths there are provisions made for infants. There are too many (and I don't know them well enough) to list. But, generally, yes they do have an afterlife in most faiths.

You can do a deep-dive in whatever your faith happens to be. Because there will be writing that addresses this exact question. Because... it really is one that people have been thinking about. For a very long time. 🙂

They surely go straight to heaven cause their hearts and minds are 100% pure, they are like angels!

Actually it's us who might have some difficulties to have an afterlife in heaven because the more we live the more we face the sins and are prone to do wrong things...

Children who are under the age of accountability, which can vary based on their knowledge of the Gospel, pass Go and straight to Heaven when they die, such as aborted babies. I heard that they get the chance to grow up in Heaven so we will all be around the same age - some say 30. So I guess if you want to be with your child in Heaven and have the chance to raise them there, you had better get right with God.

Anything made in the image of God has opportunity to make it to heaven. Even more so aborted and/or lost in their early years babies do. Separation is not permanent as long as parents are In Christ Jesus.

The different religions have different opionis about that. In an catholic country the inofficial aborters women were called "Angel makers". The bibel says about that all human beings go through a death sleep in which they are unconscious and all good ones get a new life with a new body at the return of Jesus. And this will count also for babys who have never sinned.

Yes. Read Jeremiah 1:1-6. Even an unborn child has a soul. You have a Soul and you ARE a Soul even from before your flesh was formed in the womb of your mother, according to God speaking in Jeremiah 1:1-6

Thought about it? Of course. Do they make it in? Well, I don't know- no one still alive does. It's something that has to be taken on faith, like the afterlife in general.

The church at one time would not bury babies in consecrated ground and taught that they went to Hell.

It's thought about quite often, but since it can't be proven with science, it comes down to what you believe or what you choose to have "faith in".

They never got the chance to even understanding repentance, but God is fair and loving. Babies will go to Heaven, as sad as it is for them to go so early.
