I have the most weirdest face in the world. In morning it would be fair and by night it would be tanned even if I stayed inside home the whole day. My sister's friends actually thought I was less than a year older than my sister (she's 12) and in 7th grade but hey! I am a 14 yr old teen who have hitted puberty for longer than you and in 9th grade! My seniors also assumed me and my friend (when we both were bunking classes around their classrooms) as some 6th graders and stared threatening us saying that the CCTV camera works and it's recording our crime 🤣 and then I replied them that we are old enough to commit these crimes!

And when I am in some family gathering then those typical group of aunties would surrender me and my cousin and tell me that I was as small as peanut (using their fingers while saying peanut) few months ago when they last saw me and they thought I was older due to my height and my face (in my family, everyone is short heighted, I even surpassed few uncles and my dad!).

I swear I have stopped looking at mirror and wonder if I look like my age. My biological age is 14 and it is what it is! I am truly confused about my face. Like if you look at me from a younger perspective then I indeed look like an elementary student but at the same time I look older especially if I dress up with full clothes. One reason why I stopped wearing shorts, I don't wanna look like a kid! People guess my age as younger as 11 to as older as 16 but they never guessed my correct age as 13-14. I look like anything but not my age, fortunately I do in camera with some snapchat filter (and I use them purposefully so I look youthful and old at the same time as a 14 yr old in gag!)

Nah, I don't want to look like a teenager as an adult. But then again it won't be bad to look like you're in your 20s while you're in your 30s. I just don't want to look like a kid.

You are a confident person and you are comfortable in your own skin and that is what matters. As far as your physical looks are concerned, you are in your teenage years and so you will see changes in yourself as you grow into your late teens and into your 20's.

It's not like that always. Somedays I feel good and somedays I feel insecure, about my looks. Especially infront of camera and in a picture. But it's fine, I'm not that into my looks, as far as I'm healthy then it's fine.

@insteadfew I'm 5'4-5'5. But my previous generation is really short. I got these genes from my grandparents from mother side of great grandparents from father side, they were/are really tall 6'1-6'4. You see I live in East India, in East and South India people from my parents generation really short heighted.

@insteadfew well, the shortest one is of 5'1 and tallest one is of 5'6 (only one above 5'5). My dad is of 5'4. Yes they're short. They say my great grandfather was really tall though, like 6'4.

@insteadfew no, they don't. Instead they pat my back proudly because of my tallness, they're proud of my height.

@insteadfew no I don't. Actually, everyone from my generation is tall. My cousins are tall. I guess the previous genes are becoming overpowering in my line of generation. I consider my height to be average, I'm fine with it.

@insteadfew no, I'm the tallest from the female cousins currently. Actually I only have one elder female cousin from father side (I have been talking about my father sided family) who is short (her father is 5'2 and mom is shorter than that). I'm sure the rest girls will grow tall, according to their height progress according to age they're fairly average or tall. The rest haven't hit puberty yet. My sister (12 years) will probably grow taller than me because I wasn't as tall as her when I was 12. All the make cousins are fairly tall.
