I was called ugly by a man that was a complete stranger in the past, why?

One time I was at Walmart shopping by the clothes section and a man stopped at kept calling me ugly to my face and this happened a few years ago.. What have caused this person to say such things to me? Was there something horribly wrong with my appearance or what caused that to happened?

None of us were there so HITF would we know if there was something horribly wrong with your appearance on some day in your past? Many of us can gve advice but we don't have crystal balls!

I apologize for asking this, I needed to vent at least somewhere.. thinking about it still hurts

I'm sure. I've seen people in public who I thought were very unattractve, but I have never just walked up to someone and said, "You may not realize this, but you are really butt-ugly!"

It's strange that I get called ugly by some strangers and I'm not even ugly, I'm started to think someone is going around making these people say these things to me because isn't it odd for strangers to say such things to my face like that?
