Yes. You know someone is in the car because you know someone stole it (it didn't just transform into a giant robot and walk away). You know detonating the bomb in the car will kill them. So you kill a person, and it definitely wasn't self-defense or an accident. Ergo it's murder.

Yes, it does. What if someone gets in your car thinking it was theirs? What if the thief is 15 years old? Grand theft does not warrant the death penalty.

First off, making a bomb is illegal, no matter what you do with it. And killing people is definitely illegal... it would be murder in the 2nd degree.
