Car owners, have any of you had your current car for more than a decade now?

I've had my current car for a little over 13 years now, since August 2009, for the past year or so I've thought it's time for a new car.

Is having a car for more than 10 years, is over 10 years you think when it's time to get a new car?

I know that if I was to get a new car someday, this time I want to get a hybrid.

My wife's car is 15 years old but it's still running great. My truck is 17 years old and still going strong. If you properly maintain your vehicle it can last many years. My dad had a car for 27 years that ran strong until someone hit him and totaled the car. It had over 400k miles

no. but I had my previous 3 vehicles more than ten years, usually 12 or 13 years.. I will probably keep my current one for ten years too.

My mom has had the same car for around 20 years. It’s an SUV and I think we should get a replacement but my dad wants to pay off our investment property first.

Not my current car, but I had a car for 12 years once and got 250,000 miles out of it when I finally traded it in.

Our car is over a decade old, but we only got it for about 3 years now.

Well I’ve had my mustang just over 10 years now, tore it apart for a refit and it’s been sitting in storage for a while
