Sounds like maybe you have a sensitive scalp, or at least when it comes to the sun

I get a fine tan line. Like, I went to school for two days only and due to the heat, all that fair skin of my face turned mildy bronze. I don't like that. I wish I got my father's genes for this case, he turns red.

Bronze? I thought you were already tan π
- 1 y
Really slightly bronze. I actually became really fair (my natural skin colour of birth!) staying at home during sessional change holiday of a month and half before the Sophomore session. After the new session started, my skin is tan again. My face, hand, and neck are tanned. I literally wear leggings now so that at least my legs won't get the tan.
- 1 y
But why would you want to tan yourself unevenly tho, isn't that worse? π
- 1 y
I already tanned unevenly. Like my torso is completely fair as if it never saw the sun (which is true anyways) but my face and hands are slightly tanned than my torso. Our school skirt is slightly above knees. So if I go without leggings then my calves will be slightly tanned. But then it'll look more weird if I wear skirt till mid thighs or shorts, because my thighs would be fair but my calves would be a bit tan. It's not that bad though, it's barely noticeable now if you can't see the tan line.

Damn how long do you stay in the sun π
- 1 y
Find a shade somewhere geez lol

Welcome to the summers of East India! They even gave us a holiday for few days now because of sharp heat waves and temperature going above 40Β° Celsius. Yeah, I belong to this warmth lol. I don't need to stay under sun, the sunlight seeks its way towards me lol.
- 1 y
What would you do if your original skin color was white and you are only tan cause the sun and heat kept you that way? π
- 1 y
You'd be like π€―π€―π€―
- 1 y
Well, that's my life since I'm a toddler going to school lol. My face has never got back it's original colour since then. During long holidays though, the tan fades away a bit but not completely.
- 1 y
Some people can't tan so there's that lol
- 1 y
Yeah, nowadays I'm kind of proud of it because I learnt people in west pay money to get tanned! It's completely opposite here in Asia! People bleach their skin to get pale or fair skin. I'm lucky that I can feel Western due to tan and even Eastern due to my fair skin lol.
- 1 y
That's a smart way to put it I guess, you git quite an expensive tan going there ππ
- 1 y
Yeah! I'm a unique human! LoL

Lol.

I can not tan... unless I burn first it is annoying because I usually just stay pale all year round...

If it makes you feel better there's people that like the redness on the pale skin, and you always got tanning beds lol
- 1 y
Yeah true but I don't want skin cancer lol

Yea i know, never that π

I turn red and then later on get darker and tan.
But I hate it, because I get burned.
So I avoid tanning.
I like natural tanned skin on other people.

I kinda figured you turned red, your skin is somewhat pale but you did get me by surprise when you said you tan later on, never seen or heard that before π€―
- 1 y
I mean the redness slowly turns into a tan later on, the first week or two it looks red, itβs an awful feeling. I once fell asleep on a Bali beach, just slept for 30 minutes, when I woke up I was on fire, totally red. And yes, I am not somewhat pale lol, I AM pale. In some pics I look tanned, because I used to use tan spray.
- 1 y
I used somewhat cause I wasn't certain, you could've been olive skinned cause you did look darker in some and lighter on others π€£
First week or two, sounds like a pretty long process, it's interesting tho, seems rare considering most pale people turn red and don't seem to be able to tan, some even peel and stuff so it's quite Interesting - 1 y
My brother has a bit tanned skin and greenish blue eyes, I on the other hand, have a very pale skin, reddish hair and pitch black eyes. I guess must have to do something with living in a country thatβs between Eastern Europe and West Asia.
- 1 y
Perhaps your gene pool is very mixed, have you ever done one of those ancestors DNA tests? Cause these are some crazy gene mixes, both of y'all should take one if y'all are ever curious enough
- 1 y
Of course I am curious, 6 out of my 8 great grandparents were blue or green eyed, ai am really curious why I inherited black. I also want to know the origins of my reddish hair. Seems like I am a mix, because in Childhood they nicknamed βJapankaβ or βChinkaβ for resemblance to the Japanese children. In my pwn family they thought I looked more Asian, while my brother was more Slavic looking. My mom also looks slavic. My dad looks Italian.
And in China some people think I am Notthern Chinese, some French think I am French, Some Spanish think I am Spanish, some Greek people Iβve met think I am Greek or Hungarian. I am like all of them think I am one of their own. My ex thought I was a mix between a white and Japanese. My eyes are not Asian looking, however they are slanted in a way that Asian eyes are slanted. I donβt have anyone Japanese in my gene pool, not Slavic either. We are all Caucasians, from Caucasian mountains and I really wonder why I carry all of these different features. I indeed want to do that. Actually have wanted to do that for a while now.
I guess I ll think of doing the DNA test soon. - 1 y
You should definitely consider it, you are just confusing people left and right aren't you? You have people playing guess the genes n shit π
All I know is that, that ancestry test gonna be juicy π€·π½ - 1 y
I think my dad has pretty cool genes! He is very pale white and he looks partially Italian, partially heβs got something Asian looking, I canβt name what is that, because take every part of his face, heβs obviously not Asian, but thereβs something that resembles to some of the hottest Asian guys Iβve seen. He also has Auburn hair and I donβt know how to say he looks like he is Italian and in some pictures he looks like he has got something Asian in him. He also has black eyes, but not as dark as mine, heβs got more brown eyes. My mom on the other hand has olive skin and bluish green eyes like my brother.
My dad to be honest was so handsome at my age, that I am yet to meet any Italian or Asian man who can match what he was like. He could easily be a celebrity. - 1 y
Hahaha, yep! I am so confused myself. But I think my children will look pretty cool. Because I feel like Iβve got almost everything in my genes. My ancestors must have loved traveling just like me haha
Iβll let you know the results when I do the test - 1 y
Your whole family is like God dropped all his genes and wiped it off and left it that way cause it's all there, foreal tho, in a way your family is a masterpiece from God, all the mixes and stuff, and about your dad, are you sure he doesn't have some Korean or Japanese cause I think those are the most attractive Asians, not to mention the mix itself of everything gives a certain look, and cool, we should start betting now π
- 1 y
No, I donβt know. If we have any ancestors they myst be from hundreds of years ago. Because all I know is we are Georgians, I know about our genes of the last 300 years or so.
But I am not kidding, my mom is beautiful and all but my dad? Heβs another level. We showed his youth pics to our friends and even the guys were shocked, thinking he was a celebrity.
He doesnβt look Asian, heβs just got something in him. Something that would be considered equally attractive in Europe and Asia I think. I am really curious. I think I should order the test ASAP. - 1 y
It's definitely worth taking it cause the mixes in your family be wildin, you should also convince your dad to take it as well, cause if he's the way you say he is then homie gotta take it as well, cause I don't know how all that DNA stuff works but maybe they might track deeper genes through his blood, some that might not show up on yours and in a way. you definitely gotta have children tho cause it will just keep going until someone at some point ends up with a multicolored baby π€£
It would highkey be a shame to let this huge mixed family tree get cut off, so motivation of keeping it going should definitely run in the family as well just to keep the tree alive in the future. - 1 y
My grandpa, momβs dad had blue eyes, blond curly hair and he passed away last year at the age of 82. Still canβt believe.
I always wanted to get his DNA, because he was just so special and his dad, my great grandpa was also a very beautiful man and both of them made a big influence on my childhood, they made my childhood a heaven and to know that they were both the most famous guys in town I always felt proud.
What I feel sad is that I would not imagine he would pass away so early, he was so strong and I never took his test, he has no sons left, only daughters. I am worried about that. I think I can take a test from my brother, he will have my dadβs genes.
I should definitely have kids, another great grandma of mine had violet eyes. So itβs really a weird mix of a family and I am a multicolored baby of the family haha, I have a birthmark on my face, very pale blue, it is only seen in Asians and in black people, itβs uncommon to see it in white people. Not only uncommon but so rare that there have been only few cases with white people born with this birthmark. No one in my family has had it but I see it a bit more often here in China and Iβve heard itβs more common in Japan. So I kinda assume Iβve got someone Japanese in my blood, maybe back 700-800 years ago but itβs crazy how genes show up so many years later.
I am actually into genetics, gave studies it in my free time.
And yep, I want to have children in future, to keep my bloodline going. - 1 y
Is that why you have a blue light in your house? Cause I can see on your pfp that you went natural and you using a blue light, let your colorful self show lol, you definitely must has some Asian in you if this is most common on some Asians and you have it, you also seem to have very shiny and smooth skin which if I'm not mistaken that's also another Asian feature, it's pretty cool that you are interested in genetics, because we know a lot but not enough, if you are planning on making a career in that, I think you'd make a good scientist, considering you got an interest in genes and your genes are wild, I feel like you'd discover something new that no one has seen or heard about most likely studying your own genes cause one thing I do know is that your family tree seems pretty fascinating and it can be great motivation for someone in that career.
