Do you sun tan?

I don’t intentionally sun tan but I can get super dark in the summer in high UV index. Like when I went to Greece for like a week and a half - I GOT SO DARK I LOOKED GREEK MYSELF. I even was darker than some Greeks. When I got back my friend looked shocked and slowly said “you’re… so… tan…”
My hair gets super blond from sun time too so it looks a bit weird. Darker I am lighter the hair, lighter I am darker the hair haha. I get pretty pale in winter though, I’m about as light as my near permanently pale brother.
Fluctuation of the skinny skin skin
Mostly I sun burn. Six weeks in the shade gets me some colour.
No. I used to in the past, but my skin easily gets burned and I hate the feeling,
plus it’s not good to burn in the sun for the skin, it will get old sooner.
So, I avoid tanning these days. I love the beaches and sun though.
I’m not speeding up my death. No.
Transparent is hot. Even if hard to make out the lines.
Thanks for mhg. 😎

Make sure to eat fatty health foods like egg yolks, that build your skin.
Astaxanthin is probably the most powerful supplement to prevent sun damage, but there's also good science on how other colorful foods like spirulina help you tan faster and minimize damage.
Most sun screens have toxic chemicals and many companies put unnesecary endocrine disrupting chemicals in ON PURPOSE.
To make your own just use some unprocessed oil like olive oil.
I try to be as naked as possible when it's sunny. It's good for testosterone and I'd rather die sooner (if that's even true) than not have high testosterone.
I even make an effort to expose my cherries to the sun.
Besides the UV being beneficial in moderation, the other wavelengths are also very important. I use a red light therapy panel every morning too.
No, neither intentionally nor unintentionally. I've never had a tan, I'm almost ghostly pale and I can only sunburn if I don't protect my skin well enough.
Don't wanna get skin cancer, so SPF 50 is mandatory.
Yes, but I use an SPF 50… I would never recommend trying to tan using SPF50 unless (like me) you live somewhere with near year ‘round beach weather! It takes a long time, but you get there and minimize your risk of DNA damage from the sun!
I used to when I was really young but not anymore. My girlfriend does in moderation because I prefer dark skin on a woman. But that's just my preference. My vices are cigars and coffee. But I haven't had a cigar in a LONG time. last time I lit up was sometime last year. Once in a while they're great with a good creamy style coffee. I mostly just do the light and medium light cigars and only the long leaf usually Hondoran or Dominican. I like my stuff pretty tame.
i do use sunscreen but i still enjoy tanning every now and then
We need sun. Vitamin D, absolutely critical for our immune system, is manufactured by the body in the sun light. And NOT through a window.
There are too many befits to the sun.
But Skin damage the sun has been vilified for is more to do with stupid humans than the star itself. You can damage yourself by too much of anything, even water. So stop getting burned and tan to build tolerance.
Just a tiny bit
I usually wear sunscreen with an SPF50 (reapply every 2-3 hours), hat and sunglasses
No I stay out of the sun as much as possible but as a nudist go swimming but deliberate tanning no way!
I don't. I prefer the look of a pale skin, plus it's really hard for me to get this dark anyway.
Nope because I don't tan, I burn. So if I attempt to tan I wind up looking like a freshly boiled lobster.
Its protection against DNA damage, once you get skin cancer from too much sunburns thats the dna damage.
Under sunlight, UV light specific, the skin gets darker, as a defensive mechanism.
If you get too much sunlight, you get sunburn and after repeatedly over exposing yourself to sunlight, the UV light damages the DNA in the skin cells leading to skin cancer.
And even worse are tanning salons, these are supet harmfull, and i think this is where the "tanning causes cancer" thing stems from.
I am a redhead so maybe 15 mins or so yes after that no
Yes because I forget to apply sunscreen in the morning.
I tan in the summer from working outside I don’t wear sunscreen. Also I have one arm that is darker tan because it is the arm I put out the window when I’m driving. I am young and invincible so I will be ok for now.
Given our understanding of the tanning process, it's rather stupid to volunteer for skin damage and possible cancer.
Moderation in all things. Lack of it harms our Vitamin D.
Why the fuck is a NYC slicker talking about this shit? He don't know what it's like to mow 9 hours worth. But he totally makes money off of Drones. Don't question it.
Not intentionally but even if you put on sunscreen, if you spend enough time outdoors you will get a tan if you have the genes for it.
Some pale people just burn.
Fuck no. Considering I hate the sun and how sensitive my eyes are I can get blind no fucking way. Even if I use sunscreen and re-apply I will never allow myself to get sun-tanned.
I'm black so maybe I just don't get it but what's the point?
I get very dark in summer but I decide not to get suntan this year to focus on my job as an extra.
Yeah I love being out in the sun
No, I hate being exposed to sunlight for more than a few minutes
i don't have this problem. i was born brown
that would have made life easier
Yes I do but less
i don’t over cook myself
My skin just gets hot that's it.
Ya Cause you are Hot 🥵
Nah this melanin got the job to do.
I work outside so end up pretty brown anyway
Intentionally no but naturally sure
Once again You're an Idiot
I never understood deliberately cooking yourself.
Yah I love a Good tan
No but I can tan anyway.
