I wouldn’t call it a motto but I very often encourage people to repent and obey the Lord.

The same as everybody on earth. To repent of your sins, to obey him, to have him as your savior and Lord, and to come to him for salvation as there is no salvation without Jesus Christ. These commands are universal to all on earth.

Are you aware that all humans have broken God’s law? Many, many times if we be real with ourselves. For breaking God’s law, the punishment is eternal separation from God in a place of torment. However, we can be forgiven and not punished because Jesus took the punishment for us. God is a God of justice. He must punish sin. So, either Jesus will pay for our sins for us, or we will pay for them for eternity.

Have you ever stollen anything?

The Good news is when you believe Jesus is who he said he was, when you ask him for salvation, and place your faith in him and make him your Lord and savior you can escape the consequences for your sins. You then turn from your sins (repent) and obey Jesus. Living a general life of obedience to Jesus one of the proofs of salvation.
