Covid 19... Your thoughts?

The cat was let out of the bag, it will be with us forever. It also appears to be mutating for the better (less lethal). It is the new common cold now.

What concerns me more than anything about the COVID ordeal is that no one is willing to give a clear synapses / summary of what went on….. and if you have been paying attention, governments around the world were very political in their responses. Many of the things they told us were downright lies.

For instance, that it wasn’t Gain of function research…. uh, yes it was.

Masking up the greater population with face coverings would help prevent the speed (laughable). I could speak to this one for hours…. discussing research, white papers, fit testing (multiple methods) / fit factors, protection levels, proper donning, doffing and storage to prevent contamination, etc…..

Speaking down to, preventing discussion and suppressing differing/opposing opinions, yes and constantly.

Claiming / talking out the side of their mouths stating/preaching to “Trust the science “

On and on and on….

A glorified cold (in terms of danger) that people are still treating like it was the Black Death. Future generations are going to look back and wonder how we could possibly have done anything so stupid.

The virus is still around us, even though most people think it's gone. It's still killing people but we no longer hear about it. Wonder if it's here to stay or if it will be gone in the near future.
