Another term for them is social vampires. Their function and life revolves around sucking the positive energy out of the interactions they have with other people. Fucking up your life, and making it harder for you to get by, which gives them pleasure.

Usually everything they do will be in a very passive aggressive manor too. Tell them they're being an asshole, and rather than address it directly, they'll say something like "well, I wonder who's the real asshole here, I remember when...".

Just drop them and ignore them. It's one thing if it's their pain, and they just aren't over it yet. But if it's your life, and someone tries using your past to hold you down, fuck them. Even if you committed a crime or something, the past is the past, live in the present. It's your business anyway, not theirs.

Yep, that is the some of the most pathetic behaviour there is. You have to be a real lowlife to try to use someone else's tragedy as a way of getting to them. Unfortunately, I know people that would sink that low. It happens all the time, in real life and on the internet.

To the latter, we get people here that try to exploit those sorts of things. They are nothing more than trolls. Best thing to do is ignore them. Basically, they are showing that they have no life. They spend their time just trying to hurt other people. That makes them subhuman in my opinion.

The people that associate with that sort of person are no better. To call someone like that a friend? Equally as pathetic. Those are the types of people that not only have no life but are insecure about themselves for whatever reason.

To think that you would use your time just to try to hurt someone is really sad. The word pathetic isn't strong enough. I don't know what word I am looking for, but whatever the word is for lowlife human trash would do. I would tell someone like that to get a life, but they never would be able to being such horrible human beings. Sad, sad, sad.

I prefer despicable, vile or abhorrent. Seems closer to how they are. Back in my day, they were called sadists. People who get off on hurting innocent people.
