i’ve been struggling with body dysmorphia for some time now and i’ve realized that when i spend a bit too much time scrolling on instagram or tiktok i notice a change in the way i see myself. for example when i take a picture of myself i might like it at first but after going on social media it literally changes like the picture is shapeshifting same thing happens when i stare at myself in the mirror for hours. it’s like my body changes in the span of 5 minutes. the pics we see online of influencers and models make us believe that we’re not “good enough” and we compare which is the worst thing you can do to yourself. i think i need some time off social media.
