Why do old classmates from years ago finally say hi to you now?

Probably life has screwed them over and they think u r successful and they want a piece of that. Dont believe the part about them maturing i dont believe people change. They were assholes then and they r a bigger assholes now. They r just better at hiding it because real world doesn't tolerate their BS like now. Real world is harsh and vendictive unlike a Bullied child. I can't understand why its like that in school. But just ignore them really

Perhaps they’ve matured. Personally, I had a huge crush on the popular boy when were in 11th grade. He was a jerk to me during that time. However the following year when we were seniors, he was nicer to me. Anyway, some people just grow up and change for the better.

I also don't get this. There's people who used to ignore me in high school and now they expect me to accept their friend requests on social media and act offended when I do not accept their FR or ignore their DMs WTF.

For the same reason people fake friendliness and try desperately to ride someone's jock who they once thought wouldn't make it up-and now has. It's because they discovered you could do, have and achieve what they couldn't and don't.

but they are just curious what's going on in my life, how much have i achieved so far is what they were after, to silence their own mind, they come over to meet.
