Why do some old friends ignore you after high school?

I really don’t understand. I joined three friend groups but it didn’t last. Middle school they stopped talking to me because I’m too awkward, rude and they didn’t ask me to hang out anymore. High school wasn’t great either. Some peers let me hang with them but later on they stop talking to me. I texted and texted and asked them what have I done. Or if I did or said something I apologize. I have up. College same thing happens. After two years, we all split up. None of them speak or me anymore. They decided that I am too much for them, i looked mean and put off by my differences. 29, no friends. Im just going to stick being friendless and single. My NT ex boyfriend cheated on me with an NT woman because he thought I was using autism as an excuse. Had so many fights. What is wrong with me?

Not all high school friendships are going to last. Some will eventually vanish. People changes lives or their way of thinking and sometimes we stop sharing things in common with people. Is part of life. You'll meet a lot of people throughout your life but only a few will remain in your life.

well, if you still can't find at least one thing that would make them not wanna talk to you anymore and this happens with different groups, you’re definitely rude without knowing it

How is all that my fault? I’ve been getting them to tell me what I did wrong. THEY WOULD NOT ANSWER ME! I know I did shitty things like they did but I apologized! I tried to keep the friendship together! Even my own cousin said if I can’t figure out why I can’t keep friends then chances are I’m the toxic one. Wow…

Tbh apologizing without being specific sounds like apologizing just for the sake of it. Plus why do you always need to be in a group? Can you be friends individually?

At 17, we were best friends. At 22, we were drinking buddies. At 25, we knew each other. At 27, we didn't even acknowledge each other in public.
