As some who has a rare genetic connective tissue disease called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. I have been told the 50-50 shit for years and I do not believe it's 50-50. I think it is much higher. For example, I have seen too many people that I have cautioned NOT to have kids but of course, they do not listen. Then their kids are so profoundly autistic that their kids will never be able to leave home. Unfortunately, the world believes in the policy of fucking around and finding out.

It’s 50/50. Half your DNA comes from your mom and half your DNA comes from your dad. Then we get into dominant vs recessive. Some genes are dominant so you’ll likely get the dominant gene as opposed to the recessive. And then other times it’s just a gamble
