I can’t answer because I got a dog and cat and I love them equally, but I was thinking about this question.

I have 3 cats and 1dog. I've had cats and dogs my whole life. I love them equally also. Dogs are fun to play with in the yard. I sometimes play with him in the house but my wife always yells at me. Cats are relaxing to pet and cuddle with

Cats for sure. Love dogs too, but for ownership, they’re way more maintenance than I’d ever want to sign myself up for.

I’m an animal person. I currently have dogs, and will continue to get dogs but I’d eventually like a specific breed of cat. I’d also like reptiles at some point
