I wouldn't say I'm either. I loved my dog and I love my cat, but I don't care much for other dogs/cats.

I'm a cat person but I love dogs too.

It's just mainly dogs stink and cats kind of naturally smell sweet like vanilla, it's comforting. Cats also can't bark and usually are not very loud, they are softer to cuddle with, they purr, they live longer, you don't have to walk them in the cold, and I actually find cats more loyal despite the stereotypes!

Like my cat knows my mom is mean to me a lot so she has never given my mom the same kind of intense cuddles she gives me. The only people she cuddles and kisses like crazy are me and my boyfriend, anyone who has ever yelled at me she becomes a bit standoffish with, and she never forgets!

My boyfriend would never yell at me so she's like "Oh I love you! You are nice to my best friend!"

Meanwhile, my dog would sell me for a chicken sandwich. Love the guy... but he would totally sell me for a chicken sandwich.

My cat is also just super motivated by affection. If she gets out and i shake the treats she won't come but if I say "You wanna cuddle?" she comes running!
