Well it started in 2019, I made some decisions I wasn't proud of, I got my parents sexting on the day I lost my virginity with my first ex. Later on found out he had cancer which turned terminal and he passed away March 1 2020, I also lost my Grandpa whom I s was extremely close to in 2019. Then I met my current ex and he was the most amazing boyfriend I ever had. I was in college and there was so much going that I dropped out. I was failing lots of my classes. In 2021 I a got job in the field I was studying in. I loved that job. Sadly though I got fired for something I didn't even do a year later. One of my coworkers thought I was snatching her child but I was just acting quickly to get him off the shelves. I was treated poorly by her. Then in this May my boyfriend of nearly 3 and half years and broke up. So I've had it rough over the past few years. My ex boyfriend, my family, church family and friends have been helping me get back on my feet. I've also been talking with a few people on here and they have been very helpful.

there's been a couple obviously. But thats in everyones life right? One of them was finding out that my dad was dying. He hit my brother one time and got called an abuser by me. I've hated him ever since. But now he's dying. It doesn't change what he did but it still hurts to know. The second is the love of my life left me for a long time and since then has come back to me. I still love him despite everything but I dont know if I should go back to him. He put me through hell. But he still means the world to me.

well waste no more time, leave things on good terms with your father, at this point you should do what you should to have peace in your soul for whatever the outcomes may be, and about the lover, really ask yourself, you loving and caring for him, what exactly does all that matter if he doesn't return the same effort and love back to you, your happiness matters anon and at this point, you should know the outcomes of pain and suffering you'll go through if you return to him, it didn't work once, the chances of it working now are the same as before, if not worse now, the fact that you haven't cracked and returned to him yet shows strength and i know you can keep fighting through it until it no longer hurts, you have a lot more to lose if you crack and go back to him, my point is that you need someone that you mean the world to him, not just vise versa.

Absolute worst moment in life was when I was 7 years old , and the police came over to inform us that my father had been in a car accident , it didn't kill him , brain damage , no seatbelts or airbags in those days. This set off a series of events , financial , emotional , family , checks and balances on my mother also , and it was something that was pretty much impossible to just " get over " , now for years I and others said " So many others worse off " , which is true , but it was not till years later , after seeing a phycologist that I really began to appreciate the impact , and that I didn't need to be apologetic to my mother ( now deceased ) for the impact this car accident had on my entire life , I've had many years to think it though and come to grips.

I was a late bloomer. Didn't have first relationship till 35. I had been with my first girlfriend for a few months, we'd known each other for a couple of years.
Valentines day, we met up. I was suspicious as things had been weired for a week and she had changed plans. She ended our relationship and told me she was pregnant. There were a lot of conflicting emotions to deal with.
We did speak a week later, didn't go well.
A week later she miscarried. It was a crazy time, so many big things happened in a short time. Within 9 weeks I'd had my first kiss, lost my virginity, been dumped, pregnancy and miscarriage. Crazy ups and downs.

When I was in a war zone and got a groggy vm from my mom saying "call an ambulance. i need an ambulance" and some stranger in the background saying "we're going to get you to a hospital." I had no idea what happened, where she was, if she was okay. Longest 18 hours of travel time in my life, and God bless my ex, she tracked down where she was and found out she was relatively okay, just banged up so when I hit the ground stateside I had good news. She picked me up and drove me the last 100 miles because my final connecting flight had a long layover. We didn't work out prior to that, but she was a good damned woman.

my mom and i had a nasty argument bc i was tired of her bs which i knew i'd regret later but didn't care at the time.

step-dad came home. dragged me out of the shower to beat and strangle me to then wake up later naked in the hallway. i don't think I've ever violently shaken so much before. i'd go into detail like some therapy session but i need to sleep and this won't help any

by the way i did get away from them not long after bc of my grandmother and moved in with her.

When I was homeless and living on the streets when I was 20.

I ended up living in the parks woods in the middle of winter.

A homeless Vietnam vet taught me how to build shelter, make fire and basically how to survive

I ate food out of dumpsters, went to a soup kitchen for warm place to be indoors. I would hang out in libraries and shopping malls so I can be warm for a little while.

That's the yr I almost took my own life. I thought I had nothing to live for.

That I say was the hardest and roughest part of my life

We all have shitty parts of our lives. That is what makes a difference, if you can comeback from them and thrive.

The week after new year's my mom came home from the hospital and that's when the real work begin, I had to be on standby in case she lost her balances or needed help out of a chair. for 3 weeks I was only getting2 or 3 hours of sleep I finally broke on the 3 week when she was talking out of her head telling me how awful of a caretaker I was. I know that wasn't her it was the drugs the Dr gave her.
