I have a British golden retriever he’s still acts like a puppy he’s very active. He was chasing balls and deer. He spoiled the hell he doesn’t even really touch his cable because I feed them like beef jerky and the remainder of the food that I don’t eat. It’s still always there for when he’s hungry. As plenty of water throughout the 5 acres. He’s just a happy overly friendly dog that’s always hot during this time of year because it’s 90° out (it’s even to offer me so I don’t blame him)

My dog is 9 and still acts like a puppy. Personality wise, excitement wise, wanting to work. But he’s 9, he’s a poorly bred mutt and his hips are starting to become arthritic and he can’t go as much as he used to. He still wants to, and would keep chasing the ball and swimming in the river if I didn’t stop him. But it’s my job to make sure he doesn’t over do it.
Sure. Dogs and cats do age like humans so yes they are basically seniors.
Right probably doesn’t help he’s still acts the way he did when he was 1, but that’s common for labs they’ll be puppies until they die
