I’m a quiet person in school. Why do people pick only at me in school for just sitting there?

I know how does that feel. It was the same with me. That's because you're quiet, so people assume that you're weak. They think they can say or do whatever they want to and you wouldn't react.
Or they're jealous of you. Stay strong and don't listen to them.

I completely understand that! I too was just quiet in school just wanted to be left alone but the more I wanted that the more I got picked on and bullied. People perceive you as being different from them and when they do they love picking on someone that's different. Tell them you know what they are doing and you won't put up with it anymore. Stay strong.

I got it, too!! They figure we're easy targets that won't fight back. With me, it was also because I was the tallest kid in school so, if a short bully could beat up the tall kid, the bully was seen as better and stronger than the tall kid. It never mattered that, maybe the tall kid just didn't WANNA fight!!

Because you’re quiet and probably keep to yourself. They’d see you as an easy target. It’s always the quiet kids who get picked on.
