Why do people stare at me at school but don’t talk to me?

The kids at my school stare at me a lot or they just make eye contact with me a lot, they don’t talk to me at all, and same with kids in my class. Do they think I want them? Some of the The girls with bfs (not all with bfs) give me the dirty look a lot. Like do they think I want their boyfriend? I know I don’t but do they think that? There’s some specific kids I make eye contact with everyday and it’s kind of weird it makes my anxiety so high, do they think I’m weird? Like I find three or four of them hot but not all and it’s so weird making eye contact with them. Do they think ima hoe or do they think I’m weird. Or just my crush want me and he’s friends with almost all the guys in the school and I make eye contact with all of his friends so they just look at me because he told everyone that he want me or he told them that I want him.
