full disclosure... I am a nerd π and I can have a tendency to be clumsy. I have noticed a lot of nerds are clumsy... or at least stereotyped as being clumsy π Steve Urkel comes readily to mind.
it's funny... I played football. I did karate. I've done many martial arts. I was super technical in those days. Pin-point precision. Yet... it doesn't translate to everyday life π I knock things over so easily. I stub my pinky toe in the door frame frequently. Name some silly accident... and I've probably had one like it.
I guess my question is... why tho?

Not sure..
Considering that you're a physical type of nerd maybe has to do with you being restless a lot and being spontaineous about your movements.
You should try pair-dancing, it's physical and it improves your awareness of surroundings, among other things.
What you said makes a lot of sense ππΎπ
I will definitely start doing that! Improve in that area of my life... plus any woman I meet would love that πππ½
Indeed! π
Music is such a big part of life and has so much more to give through dancing. It's like you said too, girls are usually more into it (probably becsuse it has lot's to do with flow, vibe, assertiveness and bging sensual) and they will appreciate the type of intimacy it brings. π
Because most of the stereotypes of nerds were developed around autists (or Aspergians, anyway), and one of the issues they commonly have is difficulties with proprioception.
to my knowledge I do not have a diagnosed mental illness (that doesn't rule out social autism or anything like that) but there is obviously still time for me to be diagnosed with that, of course. That makes complete sense.
Not that there is anything wrong with being autistic, of course. Albert Einstein was. Many geniuses were. Nothing wrong with having any mental illness tbh. John Adams and Theodore Roosevelt had Bipolar Disorder. Brandon Marshall has BPD. It happens. These people are equally capable of being geniuses as much as so-called "normal" people.
Einstein was no more autistic then Feynman. Don't play armchair psychologist for people who were dead before your parents were born.
I thought it was established that Einstein had Aspergers which was on the autism scale...
