Being too generic, being unnecessarily peripheral in their approach, being sexually immoral, extreme violence, no character development, too many cliff hangers, unnecessary suspense, not using examples or details, immoral ideas, being too formal and alien, using unhealthy details or resources, not accessible to me, not having a priority Gradient between high value ideas and low value ideas, not believable, promoting hate or egotism, lacking creativity or intelligence, not having personal expressions or having too many personal expressions.

Once I start a book, I can't not finish it. It could be the biggest pile of trash and I'll still finish - that's just me... I can't leave things unfinished.

Things that make me not like a book I'm forcing myself to finish - slow beginning, lack of creativity, so many characters there's a glossary in the back for reference, redundancy, the author get too carried away in nonsensical descriptors, I forget the plot.

1. If there are chapters with mentions of heavy abuse

2. if the book is really short

3. If it bores me still after the first 3 chapters

4. If there are pages missing

5. If the descriptions and the writing in general is unnecessarily complicated

1. Journal/diary entry style.
2. Long chapters for absolutely no reason.
3. Overly sexual descriptions of women (and men but is rare) in casual settings.
4. I've seen the movie/ tv show already.
5. First 3-5 chapters don't draw me in.
