My friend told me the story of a Colombian woman that just married a white man last year. The lady's mother would tell her daughter (since she was a kid) to try going after white men so that way they would have beautiful children.
She would reject her own men with her features and purposely go for white men until she landed and married one. I've heard a couple Latin women doing that too. Is this a new trend or has it been doing on for some time?
They don't want their own kind. They only want a white man.

The only difference is whites immigrated to Latin countries and started colonizing them, impregnating the indigenous women and thus creating mestizo babies. Then those mestizo babies would grow up, got impregnanted by whites and then created other whites by then. Several indigenous women were even raped. It wasn't a great time.
This is actually the opposite, where the latin women deliberately rejects her own men with her features and specifically goes searching for Caucasian men only.
America wasn't conquered by European only... thousands, by the dozen of thousands, both men and women sided with Europeans to take down the local rules

More like, for a chance to get a green card into his country... It's nothing new.
I forgot to add she already had her citizenship (I think her parents had applied for a work visa or something and then became citizens) since she was still a minor, years before meeting him.
If it's for a green card, why only with a white American guy when the immigrant can get that from any US citizen; it can be from a naturalized citizen such as a latino or an African American man too?
