How did you get to and from school?

My first school, I went on the school bus bus, as it was only 2 miles from my house, sometimes, I'd walk! The bus took at least 20:00 to get me to and from school because it went through all kinds of back roads!
In 4th grade, school was only 4 blocks from the house so, I walked both ways.
In 5th & 6th grade, school was 8 blocks away, basically a full mile, and I walked both ways.
Jr. High was about 5 or 6 miles away so, I took the school bus. High school was about half a mile closer and I still took the school bus but still walked to and from a few times.
Jr. college was about 25 miles away west of my house so, I took the city buses and still had to walk about mile after getting off the bus, the two universities were about 15 miles south of my house so, again, I took the city buses and still walked home from there every so often.

Mainly by the bus if I missed it, my parent's would drive me when we lived far away from the school. But when we lived closer to it, I was walking.

Kindergarten-6th grade I was a “walker” because we lived too close to the school. My mom would sometimes drive us.

7th-10th bus. 11-12 walk.

I walked in elementary school and high school I walked until senior year and I had a car at least for a while until it died. In junior high I took the bus.
