If someone is making you out to be the bad guy in a situation, how would you face that situation?

Depends on the situation. If it's something extreme, then I'll make sure that others see how much I disagree with it by showing negative emotion on my face & openly disagreeing with them by giving my reasons for why I'm not the bad guy.

But it it's something light & not a significant threat, then I'll make it into more of a playful thing by not showing a lot of emotion on my face & instead only giving them reasons for why they're wrong like "If I were the bad guy, do you really think I'd [insert something a bad guy would do] by being here [insert the good that you're actually doing]."

And if it's totally outrageous & shouldn't even be seriously entertained, then I'll be super playful about it without even trying to defend myself. Because at that point, trying to defend yourself will only look guilty if they really have no grounds for their accusations.

I'd ask them to explain their rationale and decide if I was actually in the wrong based on what they told me.

Sometimes the reason people are making you out to be the bad guy in a situation is you are actually the bad guy.

It's a tough thing to come to terms with sometimes, but it is what it is. It's tough to get better if you aren't willing to acknowledge when you misstepped.
