How do you feel about the capture & use of wild marine animals - such as orcas & dolphins - for the entertainment of people?

Many people will tell you they're not captured anymore, sureee they still capture orcas in some countries & sell them off to marine parks.

I hate it. Loathe marine land and sea world. The same goes for aquariums and zoos. I believe wild animals should be left in the wild. I 100% understand that for some animals it’s necessary for their populations but have a goal in mind for eventual release instead of keeping animals in cages. And I support rehabs where sometimes the animal can’t be released.


Orcas don’t do well in captivity but belugas seem to thrive in it, doesn’t make it right though. And they should be focusing on quality of life for those animals that can’t be released. Like the orcas born into captivity they should be focusing on creating large enclosures as close to the natural ocean as they can to do right by them. Not putting them in a tiny pool and calling it a day then questioning why their males have floppy fins, or their orcas have skin lesions from the poor quality.

I am completely against it and wish they ban all Zoos and this sort of stuff... and leave them alone where they belong!
