now by killing animals for fun I mean killing endangered species for sport: (ex: giraffes) and others like safari animals, wolves, moose, basically wild animals like that, that cause no harm at all. I find these types of animals more rare than hunting a deer or bird. ( though I’d never hunt either one of those) it’s stupid and cruel. As for animal poaching, I feel the same way. It’s pointless and disturbing unless you are literally starving and will DIE if you don’t eat. Plus it’s illegal which makes it all the worse. I’ll share a ss I posted on this one guys insta page on my full thoughts. I’m an animal lover so this may affect me far more than some of you. Feel completely free to share some hate on that guys account. It’s disgusting.

I’m also aware that I repeated the same stuff in both comments but it was on two different people’s pages. And I know wishing death on those guys is extreme but tbh they just doesn’t deserve to exist. meaning, earth would be happier without them. all they’re doing is hurting the earths environment by taking away its animals for fun. that’s all I gotta say.🤷🏻♀️

Yeah, I hate it. It’s sick and devolved. I don’t see the point of it or how it’s fun. They don’t care that they’re needlessly ending an innocent animals life for their own twisted entertainment, the more endangered the better it is apparently. But it keeps going because the villages that run claim it makes the village a lot of money when it likely doesn’t. It’s sick and they deserve to be hunted, survive and live with the trauma for the rest of their lives.

Having grown up watch the Crocodile Hunter and loving animals, I hate any form of hunting but poachers are actual pieces of trash. Just don't get trophy hunting confused with poaching as they are two separate things and only one is actually super bad.

I know poaching is worse but I still don’t agree with either of them. I still feel the same about both. So what you get rewards for murdering innocent animals? Doesn’t sound very good to me.
Well I don't like any form of hunting at all or support it. The thing is trophy hunting a lot of times is often looked at as poaching which it isn't. Poaching is the killing of endangered animals for money, but with trophy hunting, they actually pay the gov't a lot of money to do it and they are given specific targets that are either sick and contagious or are killing off others so they kill it to help the others survive and it's all on a special nature preserve.
Okay yes, but trophy hunting... I don’t think you should kill off the animals because they’re sick. Let the circle of life pass. That’s still wrong. Other animals need to feed too. So dead animals of illness help provide food. It’s Still disgusting. I believe one of those guys I sent a message to commented something : “heck yeah $135!” So I assume he’s a poacher. It’s sick. That’s basically it. I have nothing more to say. They all deserve the worst coming to them.
Well yes and no like lets say the Tazmanian Devil for instance. The Tazmanian Devil is endangered now due to this exclusive form of cancer that is believe it or not actually contagious even through dead ones. By ridding of the infected ones it keeps the others safe from harm. Don't get me wrong I would never want to see an animal be harmed in any way shape or form I don't even go fishing because i love the fish, but sometime I believe sometimes we have to kill one for the rest of the population's health. But we bring up poaching, disease is not even half the threat. Like the rhinos and the dodo bird disease wasn't a main factor poachers were and we gotta do what we can even if it means we kill them on sight.
Hmm. I only agree where you said having to kill off one animal to prevent disease. That makes sense. It helps the population increase again. Cause if you didn’t, they’d all get sick and die, sad as it is. But yeah that seems the right way to go. Do what’s best even if it means something sad in the end. :/
You should be using paragraphs to express your thoughts. You may sound like a raving lunatic but I didn't read your thoughts because they are in an unorganized mess. So you want validation that killing protected species is wrong, yes.
Is eating meat right or wrong? I don't know, but I like steak. How about millions of cats and dogs being euthanized yearly? Whats your solution for that? Answer is allowing worse pet owners to own pets because non-optimal life is better than no life. Write using paragraphs and join PETA.

Ok chill first of all. I’m completely aware about the dogs and cats and I hate it. I can bring that up too. I brought this specific question up because an event happened recently relating to animal hunting. I have a dog. Nothing angers me more than innocent pets being slaughtered for food. Just like wild animals being slaughtered for game. I’d serve jail for killing all the people who do this. It’d be my fucking honor to. I cry at videos where dogs and cats are abused. My heart is literally to big to bear it all. What can I do? I volunteer at the shelter, I rant my thoughts on how wrong this stuff is and I donate $ to organizations. I can’t do much. I don’t have all the power to stop it. If I could i definitely would
Shelters take care of mostly dogs and cats. You can volunteer for PETA that for example, funds governmental and non-governmental organization (NGO) to actively fight poaching in say Africa, killing say elephants for fun and ivory, or perhaps changing Canada's laws. You can take your passion, and contribute it to organized effort for your cause. Make a choice of which animal abuse offends you most, and join organization working on that.
Well I don’t like sort trophy hunting. However the polar bear hunts the meat and resources go to the local tribe that sponsored the hunt. Same for African hunting. The meat and resources go to the locals for food.
Smart managed hunting benefits both the species and the locals in these cases. If it is simply go kill an animal for fun and that’s all that comes out of it then I’m not ok with that.

Uhhh, they are killing for sport, they are also paying the locals and the tribes for the right to hunt and those peoples receive the benefits of the hunt.
A dead animal is dead no matter who killed it. Regardless who killed it the same benefits are received at a minimum and in the case of these hunters the indigenous peoples gain monies in the forms of fees for support and hunting rights. resources they wouldn’t have received otherwise.
It simply is not some random person going out and killing a random animal for a trophy and leaving the carcass to rot. So long as the hunt is managed properly and the resources are utilized properly it doesn’t matter to me what the motivation is of the person that did the hunt. The hunt is designed to be beneficial for the species and the locals. When it’s not managed properly then it shouldn’t be done.
You are right tho. It’s completely wrong to just go out and hunt these animals and not make sure it is a net benefit. Just killing rare animals for fun because you want a skin or mount. That likely still happens in some areas and those practices should end.
I'm ok with hunting for fun as long as someone is using the kill for food afterwards, but I'm totally against poaching. Because, let's face it, we don't hunt for food anymore, we mostly hunt because we like it and because we need to regulate the populations.

Yea I get the whole population scenario but, it’s just not right.. I mean I don’t understand why you gotta go killing off lions or wolves for meat when you can clearly find other food. ( unless you live in the wild and it’s your only source of food ) it’s pointless. That’s why I hate it. If it’s deer. Sadly, I get it. I would never hunt deer or rabbit or whatever, but I do know that they are over populated. So it makes sense as sad as it is. :-(. I I just can’t understand why you’d hunt animals that are more rare than that, because then they can become endangered.
I do not support the killing of wolves/lions (sorry I don't know the specific name for this kind of hunt in English) because it's only for the trophy. I have nothing against killing hares, deers, boars,... because you actually use the meat, and it's quite tasty when prepared right.
I can’t fight people on hunting those animals but all I gotta say is that I don’t really agree and I wouldn’t ever hunt even a squirrel. I just don’t see the point of hunting those animals (unless they are really over populated ) when you have other food.
We are natural predators, natural killers. There is no point in denying our animal part. Also, if you remove hunting and do not regulate population, you let diseases take a big toll on the population, you let the unregulated species ruin the ecosystem, you let potential lethal diseases being passed to humans. It's no just for fun.
Endangered? I dont think thats good at all. Common animals if you're hunting and eating or using the animal for something i think is okay. My dad would hunt deer and make sasuages
I feel it's not right but say if ur stuck in the middle of the jungle and starving then I would poach any animal which I see. depends on the severeness of the situation.
First wolves and moose live in Canada not Africa and in both cases you eat the meat but just shooting somthing for the sake of shooting it is pointless

Industrial farming does far more environmental damage then hunting not to mention in most cases you only take males so there as still lots of females to repopulate the species
There are 200 people killed a year by animals on the road and two million non lethal accidents causting us 8 billion dollars a year and that's not even including all the moose and animal attacks on people and live stock
