Why do I always crush on guys so much older than me but never the ones my age?

It's not uncommon or weird. Lots of young women fantasize about and even prefer men as opposed to boys. Women are fully developed once they pass puberty. It takes boys a while to become men both physically and mentally.

That's not weird at all. Some of my teachers are really cute, I have crushes on them and if they walk by me I get all butterflies in my stomach. Most of my friends do too. I told my mom about it and she said it's normal for girls our age.
