Why do you think we are the only animal that can think thus far?

Thinking is not mental activity. I know some of you are going to say, "Animals do think".
The senses bring in information and that causes mental activity but that is not thinking.
If animals could think they'd also be able to change and act different without the aid of a trainer or outside source.

Just because other animals besides humans can't speak doesn't mean that they can't think.
What about dolphins, elephants or gorillas, for example?

Some animals learn from each other. They can problem solve and learn new behaviors.

And there are many humans who couldn't think their way out of a cardboard box. They just do what they are told. In other words, they are trained, just like domesticated animals.

Most people don't even know what thinking is. Good luck getting them to answer this question. Most people do not think. That's why the world is the way it is lol. But they are quick to tell you they are thinking and that everyone thinks lol. It took me some time to understand what thinking was too though.
