Being an adult sucks and the pressure of bills, marriage, and having kids. Why can’t I just be a kid again instead of 25😭?

The only one putting pressure on you about marriage and kids is yourself. If you don’t them, don’t have or do them. I don’t want either and I don’t feel any pressure to have or do them, since no one else is in control of me. Stress over bills is worldwide, that’s not going away anytime soon. But there are ways to make it less stressful, by being more financially responsible.

I do want them but time is going by so fast. I just wish there was a time machine. It’s like nowadays everyone is doing things so young. It’s like wait a minute? We were just in middle school or sophomore year of high school.

Comparing yourself to other people is a recipe for depression and lack of self worth. There is no time frame that you need to be doing these things. It’s not a race to see who can have kids and get married the fastest. Kids are a lifelong commitment, you shouldn’t have them until you’re absolutely ready if you have the choice. My partners sister just had her second child and she’s in her early 40’s. She had her first child when she was 32. You’re 25! You’re still very young. There’s no rush.
