Has someone ever assumed something about you solely based on your height?

Since I’m 4’8, I get all sorts of questions/comments…but it’s mostly from children. Back in 2018, I went out to dinner with my parents and sister and the hostess offered me a kid’s menu. 🙄😂

At 13, I was 5'10 and my voice started getting deeper, so I was often confused for being much older than I actually was. Both increased too the years following, so I was often confused for being much older than I was despite having a baby face, lmao. (I still barely have any facial hair)

So it was never in a negative way, but just people in their 30's assumed I was in college when talking about school especially when I became a freshman. Outside of that, it was just usual shit like people making jokes that I must play basketball or something.

I think i've been assumed to be... a mother or a child. Just recently, I think a lifeguard assumed I had kids because I was short and carrying a tube by myself? And the child part... I think they assume I was a teenager. :)

I'm an adult, ffs.

being 4'11 yes and they were very very wrong, assuming- i can't do things like lift heavy things, live alone, really silly stuff, im 4'11 not a 3 year old

I'm 6'4", so people always used to just assume I played basketball, especially back when I was in school.

Aside from drivewall ball, I have never been on a basketball team. I actually played soccer and baseball, lol.

I’m 5’2 so I’m not as short as they come but I get mistaken for 12 years old all the time. Like… specifically 12. Always. My mom is the same height as u tho and some people think we’re sisters lol
