I would meditate, put on my favourite music. Or just go for a walk or a bike ride, weather permitting.
I mean a bad day at work, or encountering somebody unpleasant in the street.

I responded to a question like this earlier but I do not remember who wrote the question so if this is a repeat I’m sorry and not trying to be rude by spamming you. I just don’t remember who I talk to on this site.
I usually make myself some oatmeal mixed with banana and honey when I’m in a bad mood cause the chemicals in those foods boost your mood. If you can afford it, steel cut oats from Costco are better cause they are less likely to get processed with glyphosates. You want to avoid milk and soy on the days you eat honey cause mixing milk or soy with honey leads to weight gain. I think cheese is fine thought.
Another thing that boosts my mood is healthy bread mixed with cream cheese. This might have more calories then the oatmeal.
Chamomile tea is also a mood booster. I find it works better than drugs like coffee or beer.
Music, walk my dog, play with my kids. Playing dress up and having a dance party with my daughter or playing trains and Lego’s with my boys always makes me feel better.
Listen to music, try to pray which I do when I am exceptionally happy as well. Oh I ride a bike but not when I am exceptionally unhappy because I might crash into someone overthinking it. And I really try not to use social media when I am too upset because it always comes back to haunt me what I wrote 🤣
Talking to a friend or inviting them over is also a way for me 😀. Bad day at work, I usually vent off to friends and family. If I find someone mean I try to control it because my nature of work requires I be extremely cautious or things go downhill quickly. Lots of people tell white lies and I have to bargain a good enough deal 🤝.
I can do any of a number of things. Clean my house while listening to music, play video games, stretch and exercise, practice my martial arts, meditate, go for a walk, take a nap, find something to arouse myself and masturbate, watch one of my favorite movies, find a YouTube reaction video for one of my favorite movies...
I happened to have a bad experience today. Some asshole at a bus stop tried picking a fight with me. Even spilled his drink on me. When I got home the first thing I did was put music on and started washing the dishes. I don't understand why but there is something very therapeutic about that.
