Having passed my driving test in 2010, my parents presented me with a brand new Ford Focus Titanium X.
However the first one I ever bought myself was when I replaced this one with another new one in 2013.

Bought a used hand me down from my family , a bmw 325ix…it was 4wd and was good in the snow. Had it for 5 years until it died and couldn’t afford the repairs anymore

Car, as in 4 wheels? A Geo Metro, brand new right off the lot.
I had had a few motorcycles or scooters before that. But I was moving to San Francisco and commuting a few times a month to Salt Lake City because my family was staying behind so my wife could finish college. My wife didn't want me to commute on a bike.

my dad had already bought my brother 3 cars that he crashed
I worked overtime and saved for an entire year to buy that car
he was so proud of me
I had it for almost 5 years I would get up every morning just to wash it and tune it up
I loved working on my first car I miss that car 💔

the first car i bought with my own money was a 1993 Mazda 323 f ba. Most reliable car i ever had to this day. drove it for 10 years, passing every inspection without any problems not even having done a single oil change in all that time.

86 camaro then an 85 trans-am.. rented and drove different cars for years. Anything with 258-261hp and higher is ideal for me hate driving weaker cars

  @spartan55 when i first started out it was about 150hp now i can handle between 258hp to 275hp if i really wanted to 300hp maybe a little higher. The 275hp was when i drove the nissan 350z, the 258hp when i drove the subaru legacy v6 and the honda ridgeline, the 261hp when i drove the audi had twin turbo chargers

  The most powerful car I ever owned was a 92 Mustang GT with 225 horses, which at the time was pretty respectable. That car was fast for my 21 year old self. It was a 5 speed manual which made it a blast to drive.
  Nowadays you have Challenger Redeyes with 700 hp, Demons with 800 hp it's crazy.

  @spartan55 it's not always about speed and horsepower but handling as well. The nissan altima (real shitty car w shit horsepower) had better handling & maneuverability then the subaru i drove
