Technically, it was a '66 Chevy Monza convertible. My dad bought it used but pristine. It was cherry red with a black top and black interior.
That was 1969. I was almost 16 and close to getting my driver's license. It was going to be my car, but my mom drove it to a shopping center and it got stolen out of the parking lot before I ever got a chance to drive it alone without a learner's permit.

So when I got my license my dad bought me a blue '66 Rambler American 2 door.
