Im curious to know what old people from 45-60 do for fun beside sleeping most of the day?
1.5K opinions shared on Other topic. I maybe sleep 5 to 6 hours.
I work yet, still enjoy my job, travel, do anything I enjoy, get on one of my motorcycles and take a 2 to 400 mile trip for lunch, give plasma, that pays well, work on my classic cars, get laid, go out with friends, go for a walk, spend more time at the firehouse, go see a movie, breakfast meeting on Tuesday mornings, putz around the house, road trips, I've been to all the lower 48 states, Canada, Mexico on a motorcycle and rented one while we were in Hawaii, cook stuff, bench race, go to short track races, drag races, tractor and truck pulls, car shows, I have a weekly business lunch on Wednesdays, today and tomorrow I where myself out as a medic at a local horse park for their shows, I also work at a major road course race track on the safety team, I have a trailer up there to stay in, usually do that 1 to 4 days in a row, but have done 6 days, and get laid again.
The nice thing is that I have the time and money to come and go and do what I please.

+1 yOh, fuck you! 😂 Quite a bit actually (because we can afford to… 😉) For me, it’s concerts, fine dining, movies, personal travel (usually two trips a year), shopping, and theatre.

2.7K opinions shared on Other topic. Hell. Most people don't even retire until they're at least 62. Up 'til then they have a lot more money than 25 year olds and know how to live in style in their spare time. Once they retire, they can travel or do whatever they want.
If you think people between 45 and 60 are old, you have a lot of growing up to do.
I had girlfriends from the time I was 16. But I was having the best sex of my life after age 34. Monumental sex that you can't even imagine. I've been married now for 26 years (I met her when I was 40 and she was 37) and, even now, it ain't bad.
My wife and I have 30 acres, a nice house, grow a lot of our own fruit and veggies, work in the garden, exercise, travel, eat great food, go to nice restaurants, party with friends, go to events, engage in local activities, and have a great time.
I was in a rock band (really good bass player, amazing drummer, decent keyboard play, and me on guitar and lead vocals) until 2020 when the covid hysteria shut everything down.
So, yeah, 60 year olds ain't exactly dead yet.01 Reply
+1 yThey mostly put their prescription pills in their weekly pill boxes, then try to remember to take them. They bitch about the weather a lot, bitch about always being sore, bitch about being told they "forgot" to do this or that, bitch about not being able to do the things they used to do, bitch about how "much more everything costs", compared to 1950, bitch about having to go to the doctor every week. I guess they mostly bitch about still being alive and pop a lot of pills they need to stay alive.

Not even close.
I work in weather that you wouldn't even leave the house in much less get out of your jammies.
I don't have to worry about money or what things cost, my money will out last me.
I see my doctor twice a year for my wellness physical, my BMI is 28.
The only reason I get sore is when I have to step in for the "youngsters" that couldn't finish the job.
The best present I received was a t shirt they gave me with our logo on it, my radio call number on it that says "Assuming that I'm just an old man was your first mistake " I took that as a great honor.
I take a multi vitamin every day, that's it.
It's not uncommon on a busy shift to just get a safety nap once in a while, otherwise being up and going for 24hrs is not uncommon.
We are only supposed to do no more than 48 hours, but I've done 72s quite a few times a year.
My record is working 63 days in a row without a day off.
So if you are lucky enough to live this long I hope you are able to enjoy your "golden" years like so many of us old farts are able to do.
You will be older before you know it.
It happened to all of us, the older you get the faster time Flys by.
You're basically 30 you have already lived anywhere from half to a third of your life depending on how long you live, and that all depends on your health.
I have transported people in their mid 30s that have had a stroke.
We had a 25 yr old that had a brain bleed and passed away, so don't think you are safe from something happening to you at your age, and what you do today can affect your health years from now.
Tomorrow is a gift, not a given.
+1 yI don't speak for all adults in my age group but my wife of 28 years that I met in HS when I was a Sr and she was a frosh We skydive we snowboard when we can. we go and buy expensive shit we don't need we play guitar we pay for our 20 yr old University of Michigan student daughters expensive shit she wants. We're proud of our 23 yr old firefighter son We're known as one of the coolest familys on our block and we look forward to being the next generation of cool ass grandparents whenever that happens just the way our grandparents were only cooler. Not bad for Union iron worker and a family law paralegal. We grew up middle class.

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yFor me it's been doing pretty much what I want as I have the money to travel, go to the theater, have great vacations and even take the family to Asia, Europe, tropical islands and more. I bought fast cars, expensive cars, have great dinners and order whatever electronics that I need or even ones I don’t need and rarely use.
I take helicopter rides, stay in hotels that have a nightly rate equal to some people’s monthly rent, I buy dozens of outfits in a day’s shopping, I buy a vacation condo with cash, I use my boat every now and then and I fuck my wife. Tonight was another dinner put which is about twice a week at least, tomorrow I will go on a boat at my new boat club, I’ll be on a cruise in a matter of weeks which was bought just for giggles as I have seen the ports and am bored with them — I actually want to try their food as I hear it is excellent. I was actually on vacation not long ago but that was a land based trip. Its generally fun at my age.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yListen here, whippersnapper, this is how we have fun:
Usually, I’ll wake up 10-15 times a night and wake up by 7:30. I get the morning paper and read it on my front porch. Then, for the next 4-5 hours, I sit and make sure nobody walks on my lawn or uses my driveway to turn around. If I catch anyone brave enough to test me, I’ll shake my rolled up newspaper and tell them to get off my lawn.
Then I rest up and take my afternoon nap so that I can get myself over to the early bird buffet by 4:00 so I can really get my money’s worth. By the time I finish eating, I’m ready for another nap. I usually sit in my recliner and watch the evening news and then some jeopardy and wake up again at 11. If that isn’t fun, I don’t know what to tell you.

+1 yAfter I wake up in my mortgage free house, I make coffee and go to work which pretty much is just supervising my employees at this point in life. Of course with my extra income that I don't have to use for mortgage or rent, I can go out for lunch every day. In the evening I can plan my next vacation with a glass of single malt Scotch because the advantage of being old is that all my stuff is paid off and I have disposable income to enjoy nice vacations without bratty kids around
10 Reply716 opinions shared on Other topic. I’m 45 and I build plastic model vehicles, watch classic episodes of classic Nickelodeon shows on YouTube, my wife hit early menopause- doesn’t think about sex so I masturbate. That’s about all I can think of for now…I’m sure there’s more but that’s the main stuff. 👍🙂

+1 yOld people? Forty-five to sixty isn't "old" you silly child you! Sleeping most of the day?
What do toddlers between the ages of 25 and 29 do? Play with themselves and try to figure out what gender they are this month? Get one of their parents to drive them to the latest 'Just Stop Oil' demonstration? Spend all day on Twitter?
10 Reply640 opinions shared on Other topic. The same things I did when I was younger. Not everyone's body falls apart when they turn 45 or 50. There are people in their 70's who are still running the same way they did when they were 25. Not a ton of them, but we're out here.
00 Reply628 opinions shared on Other topic. 45 is not old, lmao.
Anyways, My mom retired at 58 and liked to go out shopping with her friend. My dad liked to hang out with his friends in the back yard and drink in the garage.

+1 yLikely much more than you do. My nights are not spent drinking and drugging. They are spent sleeping so that I can travel the world scuba diving, kayaking and engaging in good food and people of all cultures.
00 Reply3K opinions shared on Other topic. Everything. You have a strange view of older people. People can be quite active into their 60's and 70's.

@davado88 And you just lazily assumed that what happens on TV is at all accurate. What a clown you are.
