Listen to classical music sometimes, I like waking up early to clean, I'm constantly having to stretch because of aches, and I couldn't give less of a crap about the latest trends. 🤣

Lol everything? I've been an old lady trapped in my body since I was born. I used to tell that to the nurses at my infusion center when I first started going. They felt so bad because I was always the youngest patient there and I'd tell them I was was really 60 years old and that's why I had RA already lol
There are indicators along the way in life that you are getting old. Suddenly you hear yourself saying things like "Close the door! I'm not paying to heat the outside!". That always seemed silly to me as a kid. You can't heat the outside. Now... global warming. Who knew Dad was right?
One day you're 18, and the next you're driving down the freeway and notice your blinker is one. Ah, damn, I'm old. I remember the time I got excited about getting a bunch of socks for Christmas and then going "Oh, crap, I'm old". My sister bought me a subscription to Playboy. I pulled it out of the mailbox and looked at the cover and got excited because there was an interview with Arthur C. Clarke, one of my favorite Sci-Fi authors, then realized "Shit, I'm old". Sometimes I catch myself making noise when I stand or sit. Way old. I also turned invisible to younger women.
One day I got into an elevator and after a bit went "What is that song? I recognize it... took me a minute to realize it was the Muzak version of Metalica's "Enter Sandman". The radical music of my youth is now elevator music. Yep, I'm fucking old. lolI am an old Hippie so my old person behavior is different than my Dads generation. I listen to classic rock and play the keyboard. I am still growing as a musician, but I don’t think I will master the keyboards. I still enjoy sex as often as I can get it, and focus more on the woman’s pleasure then I did when I was young. As a older man, it takes me much longer before I can finish, which matches a woman much better. I love to hike and get outdoors. My body is slowing down, but I still feel 25 inside.
I wear "old man" shoes. I have orthotics; I have foot pain, arthritis, some possible nerve damage, and I also have wide feet, so it's hard to find (comfortable) shoes. About the only ones I can find are New Balance. Usually, shoes have to be specialty ones or are super expensive (like on sale, my last pair was like $175 from about $225)
I love puns, but that's more "dad jokes" than anything. That's not old person stuff specifically, but...
I don't listen to rap very often. I like "crooner" music - Michael Buble, Sinatra, etc. I like other stuff, but a lot of pop music just seems kinda... meh.I literally dress like it's still the Roaring Twenties and the 1950s. I listen to old school music, read old newspapers, read classic books, feed the birds, complain about Gen Z and think they're absolutely ridiculous, traditionalist, speak in an "old" dignified way, etc.
I keep telling kids about the "back in the days"
the things and the times from when before they were born... lmaoI'm basically an old person who's like the still surviving member of the marriage. You know. Like a widow. I guess.
I just life my life and enjoy being single. Happy about it. A wife and kids would just drain my selfish spending on me. Hahaha. I love my life because like I said. It's all about me.
But I'm very selfless community wise. Donate and so on.Im not a fan of technology and prefer old school stuff. I prefer money over credit cards. I like a lot of music from 40s-80s. I like to tell long stories of my childhood. I like to watch soap operas like Days Of Our Lives. I still use a house phone from time to time. I like to read comics in the newspaper. I like to say “I reckon” and “Gah lee”
I make the old lady grunt when bending down or getting back up🤦
I'm also guilty of the "what's that you said, I can't hear you, can you speak up"..
My boobs head south, and not just for winter😔
On the bright side, I don't have 80 cats or a baby doll collection (not yet anyways lololol)I say ummm a lot.
I knit.
I spend a lot of time alone.
I read books not ebooks.
I cook, take care of my home.
I prepare sauces and food that I can eat for a number of days.
I don't do much clothes shopping.
And most my stories are from some years ago.I often forget people's names, and can get really nostalgic for the "good old days" (the 2000's). I also have a flip-phone (which I hardly use), sometimes read a newspaper, and like to complain about how scatter-brained, dissolute and feral young people are these days. Now get off my lawn! :P
Make complete stops at stop signs. NOBODY does this except driving students, old people, and me. You know that thing where the person behind you at a stop sign glares at you and throws their hands up in frustration, despite the fact that you're just following the law? I've had COPS do that to me.
I also once told my great-grandmother "When I was your age..." at a time when she was literally more than ten times as old I was.Drive slowly.
I swear, I was pulling out of the parking lot slowly at the grocery store and a VERY old lady cut me off and sped off to the highway. She was driving fast 🤯Angrily shaking my fist at rascally children while I yell at them to get off my lawn.
Just kidding. I like sleeping in the middle of the day.I may not be as spry as I once was but in my mind I am still young. Sometimes my body aches tell me I can't do some things as well as I used to but it doesn't stop me from trying. I finally gave up downhill skiing and playing hockey but I still hike, go camping, bike and do construction work so I'm still pretty active.
I get older Play card games Watch TV Sew Read Shower Eat I mean what defines things as old people things? Does 🤔 sleeping with an older man count as doing old person things? 🤣
My entire world view. Conservative here at 27. It’s like I’m a senior woman trapped in a millennial woman’s body.
Read physical books. (Not kindles) and shake my head at things younger people do hopefully I didn’t do stuff like that 😂
Sit in a rocking sofa chair and rock. Sometimes walk slow or be mentally slow or weak (PTSD, depression, loneliness). Judge the kids doing moronic things (but these days they'll do challenges for some attention).
New appreciation for napping. Learned to LIKE coffee.
Sometimes catch myself losing my balance.
Could walk MILES in my youth, now arythic hips tear me up in about 1,000 yards.
