Mmm could mean you're holding that person you liked at too high of a pedestal.

For example let's say you met a guy but unconsciously compare him to the first guy you liked. So let's say, how funny he is. You compares the new guy to the old one and find thst the new guy isn't as funny as him. Soo he misses his chance. Let's say you find another guy. Ohh he's nice but. I mean he's not as cute as the first guy. So it's a no from me.

See what I mean. Perhaps you just never found another to like because you keep wanting the new potential guys to be more like him and not seeing them for them. It's what I'm saying
