I watch a lot of crime shows and a lot of them revolve around a love triangle involving babysitters and handymen. It's a tragedy looking for a place to happen. When I was working out of town every week, my wife wanted a handyman to do the things I never do around the house. I did the hiring! He was a retired truck driver that could barely get his ass through our door, he had a lazy left eye, smelled like a port-a-potty and breathed like he was a dog choking on a chicken bone. I'm not the brightest bulb on the tree but I'm not dumb enough to hire a good looking guy! Who's with me? Same goes for you, ladies! Hire a Quasimodo lookalike to watch your kids.

I hired a married helper lady years before my boyfriend moved in with me. So, I had no worries, that is, until they met.
They would go off giggling in the hallway of our apartments and she stopped even saying hello to me. I was in bed I would let her know I was awake. She would peep her head in but that was it.
I knew right when they met there was going to be trouble for me and I was right!
It wasn't that soon when he went from saying "Thank you, see ya later kiddo" to "Thank you my dear" with his shirt off as he was stacking those heavy packs of 35 bottles of water on top of each other to show how strong he was.
Anyway, to make a long story short, I think after a while she planned to leave her disabled husband of 18 years and start going on road trips and having fun after she stole my boyfriend away from me.

But as fate will have it, just when they're plans were in motion he died suddenly September 8 - a couple of months ago. Aww, too bad, so sad.
They got what was coming to them. I needed him to care for me and her husband needed her to care for him. They didn't care who they hurt. Everything was about them.
This time I didn't get left in the dust and hurt.
I know I must sound mean, but he hurt me so many times in 7 years that it had to stop because I couldn't take anymore.
By the way, he died from fentanyl mixed with meth.

I completely understand why you feel the way you do. There is definitely no reason to question your feelings. They're YOUR feelings. A friend of mine recently left his wife for the babysitter. She's 18 and he is 32. The wife, who is a beautiful amazing woman, probably thought that's too big of an age difference to have anything to worry about but I sensed trouble the minute I met her. Then he started making comments about how he thinks she's "coming onto him", which I thought he was crazy but suddenly, she's meeting him at work, just as a friendly lunch. I told him to not do it but he did.

I've witnessed it twice. My 32 yr old friend just left his wife and kids for an 18 yr old babysitter his wife hired. 2 years ago, my sister's friend broke up a family. It's not just on "tv". Also, those "tv" cases are real. They're not scripted.
