I was raped at 9 by my cousin. I hated boys after, then I met my boyfriend who was abused by his older sister. It was at that moment that I realized that it happens to boy too. I feel compassion towards boys who went through the abuse and that it effects them just like it does girls. The way we treat boys that have been abused/raped is horrible. They get ridiculed for being upset and they should have liked it just because they're boys and that they let it happen because boys are supposed to be stronger than girls and they can stop it. My boyfriends sister was 5 years older than him and a lot stronger than him. Yet boys get abused and raped just as girls do and anyone who says boys can't be raped by a girl is ignorant. I've seen girls grab a boys crotch and then laugh about it and the boy pretends he likes because he will be called gay. When a boy grabs a girl like that we don't say you must be a lesbian. No we comfort her but with a boy he is just left to suffer by himself asking what's wrong with him. Sorry I went off on a simple answer but I feel really strongly about this. It just makes me so upset 😡
