it kind of depends on is that person not reciprocating? or do they take their time responding due to irl obligations. if they reply I would continue with the conversation if they just ignore it for days then no. they making it pretty clear they don't care enough

My agrument was that if someone is not reciprocating in the conversation, it is futile to continue the discussion, as it would be like talking to oneself. I began with the conclusion I was trying to end with, and thus proved nothing.
