Where did the cat come from? A pet store or off the street? Or was the cat adopted?

I see a video online a while ago, someone adopted this animal and they learnt the animal only understood Spanish and no English.

Maybe speak to those where the cat came from to find out if there is a language the cat understands. It's also possible the cat may be deaf. Or you can speak a bunch of languages and see which one the cat understands
