Am I wrong for stop putting forth the effort in my situationship? Like I stopped calling first, I stopped texting first, I stopped talking about my feelings because he never had a answer for them. Does this makes guys more uninterested? I only stopped because I felt like I was the only one trying to make us work. He does does call and text first now etc but will he eventually get tired? I need you guys opinion.

In life if you never try you will never know & in life every relationship is different. Some say communication is the key but sometimes locks can’t be or could be difficult to open. As for you in a way you are wrong & in a way you are right & I don’t blame you & if truth be told you & your boyfriend have to sit down & have a heart to heart talk if you two want to move forward with your relationship.

Well because I knew him since elementary so I’m very close with him so I try not to give up on what we started. But now I wish it never did yk.

Yea that makes sense, it's understandable as well, at least he can't blame you and you lacking effort, you should just call it quits tho, your efforts don't seem appreciated and no one should expect you to stick around putting in one sided effort forever, maybe it's time to call it quits, at least find what you seek for elsewhere since this person isn't appreciating you.

You’re right! I only did it to see if he’ll notice or even care. Which he did and he puts effort in it but still so confusing on what his intentions are. I don’t want him to get bored or uninterested because I stopped.

If he isn't matching the same effort as you I don't really see that as interest anyways, maybe he will miss the effort and start fishing for it and in the process give you more attention, because from what you are saying with this guy it seems that if you don't put effort you lose but if you do put effort you still lose so what's it gonna be, at least if you don't put in the effort you can use the time to give it to someone else.
