How many warnings do you get before you get banned?

I was just kinda wondering, cause I just get curious about things like this. How many warnings do you get before you get banned?

It's more so the offenses which lead to the 3 official warnings, or so I've been told they'll issue 3 warnings, the 3rd being the final.

Users on here do not realize that the admins CAN see ALL users who post, even the anonymous ones. So if a user is trolling anonymously and thinks that removed answers and questions are simply that, they're wrong. The admins can see who asks/answers what and if they see a user is a repeat offender of trolling(posting racist/illegal/cyber bullying classified material), they'll issue warnings I'm assuming and then if such warnings go ignored, then they'll ban.

Plain and simple. There's no explanation needed if a user knows they are trolling. Too many users on here will troll then try to play victim and act as though the admins owe them something.

Generally, it's 3 warnings

Never received a warning, so can't explain much else

I think its the offenses themselves and not the number.

Ive had numerous questions/answers removed, as have other mods and members here.

The ones who get their accounts banned are the ones who are spamming, underage, deliberately breaking the rules, trolling, etc.

They get a couple warnings but if enough people complain they get removed.

I do HELP enforce them. I cannot delete questions or anything. I can delete comments. I can report users who are trolling, etc. Others can do that though. It just means we are the Admins eyes and ears when they can't be on the site.

ah , then why do they give vague warinings that make no sense like once I was warned by london princes about asking offensive questions and giving obscene answers...its confusing I mean couldn't they just be direct

Mods have nothing to do with sending out those messages.

No, that's not a warning. The warning is a message sent to your girlsaskguys account and from what I'm told they'll tell you they are issuing you a warning. Almost every user has material removed at some point, so removed amswers/questions/comments aren't warnings

It depends on your reputation. If the admins feel that you maybe made an honest mistake by being crude and offensive, you get a warning. In this case, having a history as a valuable contributor to this site will help you stay above water. Of course, after so many warnings you're done.

There are ways to get instantly banned.

-Making personal threats to another user.

-Making offensive remarks about race and/or sexual orientation.

-Making sexually explicit advances towards other users/posting nude pictures or links.

-Impersonating another user.

So far as I know, there is no set limit.

Definitely the Admin can ban anyone at any time regardless of the number of warnings.

I know that I've received a few warnings for snarky comments that were reported as being rude or unhelpful. But not every snarky comment I've ever made has been reported and deleted with a warning. So there's some inconsistency there.

We can all get carried away sometimes with the informal casual conversational style of the QnA's and thus wind up saying things which are not particularly helpful. But we should always try to remember that unhelpful questions don't deserve a rude answer. Just no answer. And the site is here to help people, so spend time doing that instead.

When I was banned last year I got no warning which was too bad for me because the acc was nearly lvl 10 and I heard other people got warnings so idk. Must've made someone rage.

I don't think there's a specific number. You can be banned anytime if you p*ss the admins off.

Oh all sorts of dumb sh*t lol. I posted some crude sexual trolling questions anon before. I've trolled in penis size questions and other not so great questions too anonymous. Mostly it's anonymous trolling, but way more offensive. I'm a crazy SOB what can I say?
