Who made the worst decisions in the end, Tupac or Biggie?

I'm trying to figure out who was the dumbest out of these two kids in their mid-20s (who are still called "genius")—the one who had the world at his feet as a world-famous millionaire entertainer who decided he should join in on beating up a known gang member and then drive around in a car that wasn't bulletproof. Or the other one who, after these events, went to the west side to taunt him and his rabid fans, which included gang elements, and then hung around with no competent security. Who really takes the title here?

Tupac.. The guy wasn't even a gangster growing up.. He was a studio gangster that tried to live in the game.. I mean I get it, he probably wanted to put on the act if he was going to be in the scene, but he squandered what could have been a good career..

Exactly but then I think that Tupac made the worst decisions in the end, going at everybody in Hit ‘Em Up. He dissed Biggie, P-Diddy, Lil’ Kim, Lil’ Cease, Mobb Deep, Jay-Z, Chino XL and others. He made many enemies with that record alone and Hit ‘Em Up wasn’t the only song where he dissed all of them.

Tupac knew that if he dropped Hit ‘Em Up, there would be consequences that couldn’t be reversed.

Exactly, especially with people like Diddy and Jay Z.. It was probably Diddy that got him in the end.. Or maybe Tupac found out some things early on and wanted to let the world know the best way he could have.. 🤔

When I look at it from his perspective, I can understand why Tupac put out Hit ‘Em Up. He thought that Biggie and P-Diddy set him up when he got shot and robbed, especially after Biggie dropped Who Shot Ya.

Still, if Hit ‘Em Up never dropped, Tupac might have been alive for a longer time. It’s a shame it had to end this way…

Aw yeah it's definitely understandable.. They pro very well could gave set him up.. But, yeah it's a shame of what happened.. And it's an even bigger shame that Tupac had an actual education with his poetic talent, and just followed the fold.. Which I get because it's was what's popular and that's where he was trying to be.

Both of them fucked up respectively. Tupac got back at the dude that stole a Death Row chain. Nothing more than getting shot over what you took back. Biggie was not smart bring in L. A 6 months after PAC died though. Just not smart.

You're right man, they both messed up in their own ways. Pac definitely shoulda just let that chain thing go instead of escalating it. But I get why he felt he had to get back at the dude too.

And Biggie, damn son just plain dumb going to LA like that so soon after Pac died. I mean come on, what did he think was gonna happen rollin through Blood hoods dissin Pac non-stop in his songs? Dude had a death wish for real.

They were both super talented and could've changed the game if they stuck to just makin dope music. But I guess beef and drama sells records too. Just sucks they let it all go to their heads like that, cost them their lives in the end. Whole thing was avoidable if they'd kept their egos in check, you know?

Anyways, RIP to both Pac and Big, legends forever. Just wish they'd been smarter with all they had going for em. Whole thing's still crazy to think about.
