Prehistoric origins:
Modern Europeans: Neolithic Anatolian farmers + Mesolithic Caucasian hunter-gatherers + Eastern European hunter-gatherers + Western European hunter-gatherers (+ tiny bits of mostly Middle Eastern-like admixtures, mainly Levantine and North African)
Modern Levantine Arabs: Mesolithic Caucasian hunter-gatherers + Neolithic Levantine farmers + Neolithic Iranian farmers + Neolithic Anatolian farmers (+ tiny bits of other more “exotic” ancestries like South Asian, Central Asian and Subsaharan African admixtures).
So there was already a lot of "white skin" genetics.
Later, some Greek (Hellenic), Roman, and European (crusaders).
And in recent centuries, there was the Barbary slave trade in European women, as well as European colonialism.
But the European admixtures over the past 2300 years aren't the only reason for light-skin and even light-colored hair and eyes in the Middle East.
Absolutely but peoples from thousands of years have been migrating back and forth in the region, east and west, north and south since before and during the first civilisations were established. For instance the Macedonians conquered most of the middle east, Asia minor, Egypt, central Asia, northern India and were right up to the boarders of what is today's China. The last free Macedonian kingdom survived in what is today's northern India/Pakistan/Afghanistan a few hundred years after the birth of christ long after the Romans, Parthians and huns had conquered the rest.
